HMV said sales of Oasis' back catalogue soared more than six-fold on the previous week, due to huge demand ahead of tickets going on sale for the band's comeback concert.
The entertainment retailer said it also saw a surge in pre-orders for the 30th anniversary edition of the band's “Definitely Maybe” album, which was released on Friday.
The Manchester band announced plans for their long-awaited reunion on Monday.
Liam and Noel Gallagher's band will begin performing at Cardiff's Principality Stadium next summer, before playing Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park throughout July and August.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the public on Saturday.
HMV said the announcement had increased demand for the band's back catalogue as well as their latest releases.
This week, HMV saw sales of its entire catalogue of records and CDs increase by 526% compared to the previous week.
Sales of their LP 'Definitely Maybe' increased 443% week-on-week, while 'What's The Story (Morning Glory)' and 'Knebworth 1996' increased 684% and 209% respectively.
The retailer added that pre-orders for the 30th anniversary edition of Oasis' Definitely Maybe have doubled compared to a week ago.
Phil Halliday, managing director of HMV and sister company Fopp, said: “Oasis are a truly iconic band who had a hugely positive impact on British music.
“Sales over the past week both in-store and online are testament to its popularity across the country.
“It’s great to see so many people listening to their record catalogue again, from classics like Definitely Maybe to the Knebworth LP.
“I can't be the only one trying to get tickets on Saturday.”
