Deputy First Minister and Housing Minister Angela Rayner will give delegates at Labour's conference on Sunday an update on the Tenants' Rights Bill.
Mr Rayner, who is scheduled to speak for 10 minutes from 11.25am, will be the only person speaking about housing in the main hall, but there are a number of related events taking place throughout the week discussing a wide range of topics related to the private rented sector and housing.
Also on Sunday, the anti-landlord Renting Reform Coalition will debate “How can Labour solve the rental crisis” with speakers including the Acorn Renting Union and the Citizens Advice charity.
The following day there will be a debate co-hosted by the social market foundation think tank abd and Paragon Babq on “What place does the private rented sector have in Labour's housing plans?”
Speakers include Nigel Terrington of Paragon Banking Group and Gráinne Gilmore of property consultancy Cratons.
Also on the same day, a meeting will be held, hosted by Mars Petcare and Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, to discuss 'Ending the total ban on pets in private rented housing: what next?'
There are many other housing-related events dedicated to planning reform, new build targets, social housing, council housing and home energy efficiency.
The conference will conclude on Tuesday afternoon with a keynote speech from party leader Sir Keir Starmer.
