Hampden & Company announced that Tracy Davidson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
Davidson takes over the role from Graham Hartop, who stepped down from the role after 11 years.
Previously, Mr. Davidson served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Handelsbanken and Chairman of Handelsbanken's Wealth and Asset Management.
She joined Handelsbanken in 2003 from Barclays to grow the bank's UK operations.
Additionally, Davidson is a board member of the Personal Investment Management and Financial Advice Association (PIMFA) and chair of the Integrity and Ethics Committee of the Chartered Institute of Securities Investments (CISI).
Mr Davidson said: “In 2015, Hampden & Co launched as the UK's first new private bank in 30 years. Since then, we have built a strong reputation for excellent customer service and tailored products.”
“I see strong growth potential as UK customers increasingly demand more personalized banking services from banks that understand their needs. I am excited to join and look forward to leading the team to even more success in the coming years.”
