Skipton Building Society has announced the appointment of Simon Farrell-Roberts as Head of Mortgage Lending.
Prior to joining Skipton, Farrell-Roberts held the position of Head of Performance and Operations for the Direct Mortgages and Protection business at Lloyds Banking Group.

In his new role, Farrell-Roberts will lead Skipton's mortgage lending team, guiding customers from application through to the day they receive the keys. This includes increasing the speed and efficiency of decision-making processes, leveraging technology to streamline day-to-day operations, and allowing Skipton's experts to spend more time on personalized services.
Earlier this year, lender Gen H hired Karen Appleton as loan officer. Mr Appleton worked for Skipton Building Society for nine years, serving as loan officer before his move to Generation H.
