Skipton International hires Fouquier as CEO

Skipton Group has hired Susan Fouquer as Skipton International's next CEO.

Fouquier is currently managing director of Royal Bank International's institutional banks at Scotland International in Natwest and head of Guernsey.

She has worked for Natwest for 25 years, during which time she has gained considerable offshore experience with institutional banks across the Channel Islands, Gibraltar, and Human Islands.

Fouquier, who lives in Guernsey, also serves on the Skipton Group's executive committee.

Skipton Group owns real estate agents for Skipton Building Society, Skipton International and Connell.

Eric Burnett of Skipton International Chair said: “She (Fouquier) brings her extensive knowledge of the Channel Island banking industry, along with her important passion for peers' involvement, diversity and inclusion.

“She has a track record of linking objectives and strategies for people and supporting them to make this happen for their customers.”

Fouquier added: “We recognize our strong history of providing high-quality products and services to our customers, and we strongly believe in the purpose and direction of our organization.”

According to the business, Jonathandel, chief financial officer of Skipton International, will serve as interim chief executive officer during the launch of Houkier as Coupe leaves.
