Donna Francis, former Chief Operating Officer of the Equity Release Council, has joined the Equity Release Group as a non-executive supervisor.
Later Life Brokers stated that Francis (pictured) “helps raise industry-wide standards while expanding the scope of accessibility when using wealth as a catalyst for financial planning requirements.”
Francis spent 10 years as Chief Operating Officer of the Equity Release Council, where he was responsible for the development of operations, regulatory policies, industry standards setting, membership proposals, corporate governance and financial management. She left her post last May.
Prior to that, she founded the Personal Finance Association, a well-known industry-wide project, including the merger of the Life Insurance Association and the Financial Advisors Association, and then launched a mortgage expert over her next 30-year career.
Mark Gregory, founder and CEO of Equity Release Group, said:
“Together, we are confident that we can promote scalability and security across the market and enhance the customer experience with excellent quality advice.”
Francis adds: “The Equity Release Group is in an exciting phase of their journey, and I am delighted to be able to help shape their future, as well as helping to shape their future.”
