The majority of lenders' borrowings are centered on home loans.

He worked as a senior commercial banker at Arbuthnot Latham and previously worked as a commercial banker at Coutts & Co., where he began his private banking career.

Mark Plummer, Head of Private Banking at Hampden & Company in London, said: “Julian brings considerable business, technology and human relations expertise to Hampden & Company. His deep understanding of customer needs comes from his experience working in a private bank. This makes him a strong addition to the Hampden & Company team.

“His appointment further underlines our desire to grow in London and the South East.”
