Accord Mormages is the latest lender to ensure that cases filed early next week will be completed prior to changes in stamp duty thresholds at the end of next week.
The broker-only lender said these cases must be filed by March 25th ahead of the April 1 deadline.
They also urge brokers and lawyers to call the company if they are unable to meet this deadline but are “targeting the completion of the march.”
Lenders expect “very busy last March” and can “double the capacity if necessary” to complete the loan.
On April 1st, it will drop from £250,000 to £125,000 for Home Movers and from £425,000 to £300,000 for first-time buyers.
Barclays and Lloyds banking groups (including Halifax and Banks in Scotland) offered similar pledges this week.
Accord of Sales and Distribution states:
“So we maximized our resources across our skilled customer support team and helped them achieve that.”
